The Brazilian star Extends Sincere Sorry to The Madrid Club Supporters
The forward has registered 5 goals in ten domestic competition outings so far this term.
Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr has expressed regret to the fanbase for his response when substituted in Sunday's intense El Clasico triumph.
The Brazilian was substituted in the 72nd min and showed his disappointment by heading directly down the tunnel.
Vinicius subsequently came back to the dugout and, following his side's narrow triumph, attempted to approach Barcelona's opposing player during unpleasant post-match scenes.
"Today I want to express regret to all the Madridistas for my behavior when I was replaced in the Clasico," Vinicius wrote on X.
"Similarly to I have said in person during this morning's practice, I wish to say sorry once more to my team-mates, the club, and the president.
"Occasionally emotion takes over me because I always want to succeed and help my team. My winning mentality comes from the affection I have for this team and each thing it symbolizes."
He signed for Madrid from Brazil in recent years for a significant fee and has scored 111 goals in 335 appearances.
But his future in the Spanish capital is unclear with rumors in the past few months stating that the club would contemplate allowing the 25-year-old leave if they obtained a suitable offer.
When the winger was replaced on that day, broadcast footage from network Dazn recorded him remarking: "Always me! I'm exiting the club! It's better if I leave, I'm going."
In his most recent statement on the platform, the athlete said: "I commit to keep battling constantly for the good of the club, as I have acted since the first day."
